The department has well equipped state of the art English Communication laboratory housed in the computer centre, with 32 systems. Software worth One Lakh rupees is installed in the lab. The major laboratories are

- Engineering Chemistry Laboratory
- Separate workshop for I year students

Language Lab Software:
The revision of English Communication Practical in 'L' Scheme Syllabus necessitates modernization of the existing language laboratory. For the effective conduct of Listening and Reading exercises, we installed a new Software namely "Learn Soft" on 06-03-2013. The new language lab accomodating 36 students per batch at a time. The approximate cost of the software is Rs.80,000/- The Software helps the students to practice the linguistic skills as well as helps to correct pronunciation which will enhance confidence of the user. |

| Continuing Education |
| Our department staff members conducted Learning Skill Workshop to the I year students. This workshop imparts Reading techniques, Writing techniques, Memory techniques, Time Management etc… |
