| Facilities >> Physical Education |
Great emphasis is given to promote Physical Education in our Polytechnic. We have provided facilities to the students to play all major games like Hockey, Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Hand Ball, Cricket, Foot-ball, and indoor games like Carrom, Chess, Shuttle Badminton and Table-Tennis. A 400 metre track provides facilities for all field events. All the play fields are maintained with great care.
Students are given compulsory games in the evenings. Separate coaching is arranged to selected players of various games. |

State Level Championship for 18 years since 1984. |

Winners of the State Level Inter Divisional Hockey Tournament for 13 years. Runner during 2011-12. Bronze Medal in 2012-13 |

State Level Winners during 1989. State Level Runner during 2001-2002. |
| Shuttle Badminton |
Winners of the State Level Tournament for three years from 1996 to 1999 and also in 2000-2001. |
| Table Tennis |
State Championship in 1998-1999. |
| Foot Ball |
State Championship in 1998-1999. |
| Tennikoit (Girls) |
State Level Winners in 2003-2004, 2005-2006, 2006-2007. State Level runner in 2002-2003. |

In 2000, 2001, 2006 our players participated in National Volleyball Tournament. From 2002 to 2006 our Girls Tennikoit team participated in National Tennikoit Tournament. |

| Athletics : |
| Individual Championship was won in the IPAA Sports Meet during 1986-1987, 1991-1992 and also consecutively for 3 years during 1995-1996, 1996-1997 and 1997-1998. |
| Institutional Championship was won for 3 consecutive years during 1995-1996, 1996-1997 and 1997-1998, which remains an unbeaten record in the history of IPAA Sports Meet. |
| Physical Education Committee : |
| A Physical Education Committee has been formed with two staff members and three student members to co-ordinate the activities of the department. |
