Bus Shelter Opening Ceremony

A good bus shelter is an essential part of any successful urban mass-transit system. To make this statement true, The Rotary Club of Sivakasi in association with Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic College and  Rotaract Club of our college, had constructed a New Bus shelter for the passengers towards Sivakasi. Rotary Club of Sivakasi had donated Two Lakh rupees for this project and the rest of the amount is borne by the Management.

The opening ceremony of the bus shelter was conducted on 07/08/2016, Sunday. Rtn.PAG.N.Shelvaraj, Chairman Community Service, Rotary District-3212 jointly opened the bus shelter with Rtn.PHF.IPP.R.P.Ramamoorthy (also the Sivakasi Nattanmai) and dedicated to the public usage. Mr.V.Giridharan from the Management graced the occasion by his presence and the Principal Thiru M.Nandakumar presided over the function.

Latter Rtn.PAG.N.Shelvaraj addressed the Rotaractors in CLAIR (Centre for Library and Informational Resource). He insisted that students should try to know the outside world. They should come out of their comfort zone to achieve their goals. He advised the students to try to understand the characters of peoples before trusting them.

Earlier Staff In-charge of the Rotaract Club of AGPC, welcomed the gathering. Principal Thiru.M.Nandakumar, in his address urged the Rotaractors to prepare themselves to serve the society through Rotaract and the Rotary clubs. Rtn.PHF.P.S.G.Selvarajan, President, Rotary Club of Sivakasi  while addressing, exclaimed that he felt extremely happy to be the part of the opening ceremony and  urged the Rotaractors to have special interest in serving the community. Rtr.S.Nivas Prabhu proposed vote of thanks.
