Eve's Fest – 2017

Eve’s Fest – 2017 an Inter-Polytechnic Cultural Competition for Girls, was conducted on 07-01-2017. Totally 100 girls from various polytechnic colleges participated. The competitions were as varied as Game Show, Recitation, Fancy Dress Competition, Folk Dance and Art from Waste. In her inaugural address Mrs. Archana Karthick, our management member had spoken the importance of consistent practice that would improve the calibre of the participants. Practice can only lead us to perfection, be it a Stage Performance or Non Stage Performance. The principal in his presidential address motivated the participants to perform better than their previous attempts. In her valedictory address, Dr.G.Valli, Vice chancellor, Mother Teresa University, Kodaikanal congratulated all the participants for their excellent efforts and hard work. She advised the girls to eliminate their inferiority complex which stands in the way of the progress of many women. She threw light on the vast vistas that await the budding engineers and other professionals. Education can only uplift women and therefore girls must take education seriously and avail the opportunity that knocks at their doors. Previously, Principal Mr.M.Nandakumar presided over the programme. The Chief Guest distributed the prizes to the winners of various competitions. Miss Talentia title was won by Ms.Maria Michael Antonyammal IIIrd year EEE of Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic College, Sivakasi and Tmt. Rajeswari Vijayakumar Rolling Trophy was won by N. A. Manjammal Polytechnic College, Rajapalayam.
